⚠️ Before You Delete
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- All your personal data will be permanently deleted
- Your progress, challenges, and chat history will be removed
- Any active subscription will be cancelled
- You will lose access to all premium features
- You cannot recover your account after deletion
Method 1: Delete from the App (Recommended)
The easiest way to delete your account is directly from the Rejected! app:
- Open the Rejected! app on your device
- Tap the Profile icon in the bottom navigation
- Tap Settings (gear icon)
- Scroll down and tap Account & Privacy
- Tap Delete Account at the bottom
- Read the warning message carefully
- Type "DELETE" to confirm
- Tap Delete My Account
Your account will be immediately deactivated and all data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
Method 2: Request Deletion via Email
If you cannot access the app, you can request account deletion by email:
- Send an email to privacy@rejected-app.com
- Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
- Include the following information:
- The phone number associated with your account
- Your account username (if you remember it)
- Approximate date you created the account
- Reason for deletion (optional)
- We will verify your identity and process the request within 48 hours
What Happens After Deletion?
Immediate Effects
- You will be logged out of the app
- Your account will be deactivated
- You will no longer receive any notifications
- Your subscription (if active) will be cancelled
Data Removal Timeline
- Immediately: Account deactivated and inaccessible
- Within 24 hours: Personal data removed from active systems
- Within 30 days: Complete deletion from all backups
- Up to 90 days: Removal from analytics and aggregated data
What We Keep
We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Transaction records for tax and accounting purposes
- Communications related to customer service issues
- Information necessary to prevent fraud or abuse
- Aggregated, anonymized data that cannot identify you
Subscription Cancellation
If you have an active subscription, deleting your account will cancel it automatically. However, if you only want to cancel your subscription without deleting your account:
Cancel Subscription Only (Keep Account)
- Open your device's Settings
- Tap your name at the top
- Tap Subscriptions
- Select Rejected!
- Tap Cancel Subscription
You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.
Export Your Data First
Before deleting your account, you may want to download a copy of your data:
- Go to Settings in the app
- Tap Account & Privacy
- Tap Download My Data
- We'll email you a link to download your data within 24 hours
Alternatives to Deletion
Before deleting your account, consider these alternatives:
Take a Break
You can simply stop using the app without deleting your account. Your data will remain secure and you can return anytime.
Adjust Notifications
If notifications are bothering you, turn them off in Settings instead of deleting your account.
