By downloading, installing, or using the Rejected! mobile application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Rejected! is a mobile application that provides AI-powered coaching for building social confidence through rejection therapy exercises. The App offers:

• Personalized daily challenges and exercises
• AI coach interactions via text and voice
• Progress tracking and insights
• Educational content about rejection therapy

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 13 years of age
• You have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms
• You are not prohibited from using the App under any applicable laws
• Your use of the App will not violate any applicable law or regulation

Users under 18 should use the App with parental guidance.

4. Account Registration

To use the App, you must create an account using your phone number. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

5. Subscription and Payment

Free Trial

We may offer a free trial period. At the end of the free trial, you will be automatically charged unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Subscription Plans

The App offers subscription plans with recurring payments. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

Billing

• All payments are processed through the Apple App Store
• Prices may vary by region and are subject to change
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• No refunds for partial subscription periods

Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm others through the App
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its systems
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code
• Use the App in any way that could damage or overburden our servers
• Share your account with others
• Use the App for commercial purposes without our permission

7. Health and Safety Disclaimer

Important: The App is not a substitute for professional mental health treatment. The AI coach is not a licensed therapist or medical professional.

• The App provides general wellness and confidence-building exercises
• If you have severe social anxiety or mental health concerns, consult a healthcare professional
• Stop using the App if you experience increased anxiety or distress
• The challenges are suggestions only - use your judgment about what's appropriate
• Never put yourself in dangerous or inappropriate situations

8. Intellectual Property

All content in the App, including text, graphics, logos, images, audio, and software, is the property of Rejected! or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial use.

9. User Content

By submitting content to the App (messages, voice recordings, feedback), you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, and store that content for the purpose of providing and improving the service.

You retain ownership of your content and can delete it at any time by deleting your account.

10. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

11. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

No Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, REJECTED! SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Maximum Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE LIABILITY.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rejected!, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

13. Modifications to the App and Terms

We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue the App at any time
• Update these Terms at any time
• Change subscription prices with notice

Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately. Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

16. Apple-Specific Terms

If you access the App through an Apple device:

• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App
• Apple is not responsible for any product warranties
• Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to the App
• Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these Terms
